Generoso Navarro might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Navarro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Generoso Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Hipolito Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Almada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Bartolo Matei threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Generoso Navarro made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Hipolito Igon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hipolito Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hipolito Igon was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Sigfrido Auletta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sigfrido Auletta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Roberto Cabañas was substituted for Generoso Navarro. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Igon made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Cabañas in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★'s Roberto Cabañas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Roberto Cabañas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. 91 minutes into the game, Adriano Curto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hipolito Igon. Adriano Curto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, ℬяїsтоl ℭiтџ ★ɓy ℳᾳxjgb★ could leave the field as winners, despite Italy having more of the ball for most of the match.
