Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toni Mauzer got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Martin Bosak got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Silvije Santek hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kauã Pimenta sped through Croatia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Gilberto Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bosak in the 11th minute of play. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. If Cauã dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Martin Bosak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Gilberto Moreno. Gilberto Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Kauã Pimenta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 2-1. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Kauã Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Pimenta went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When Toni Mauzer came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Mauzer couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Veiga during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abelardo Veiga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Toni Mauzer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Moreno having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauã Pimenta to make the kick off. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Croatia's Dinko Stankovic got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kauã Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã Pimenta in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilija Skugor saved Croatia from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Mauzer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Fernandinho Furtado got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gilberto Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toni Mauzer's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Sarmento hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Croatia's Dinko Stankovic got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Kauã Pimenta in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kauã Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Croatia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
