Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fermin Dolfo made the kick off and thus started the match. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Yalapa's goalie and right to Wim Wilmes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Yalapa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Junior in the 6th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Amedeo Biscotti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 17th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basri İhtiyar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Yalapa defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basri İhtiyar. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basri İhtiyar should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Basri İhtiyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. After 60 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basri İhtiyar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yalapa's Eustaquio Ramond was substituted for Igor Stephen. Lars Meesters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Basri İhtiyar made a huge save. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 74th minute of the match. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Dino in the 81st minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Biscotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Basri İhtiyar made a huge save. Atilano Dino scored 3-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Yalapa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
