Rigoberto Txerran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Languiñeo FC's Rigoberto Txerran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Enzo Totakoxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Rigoberto Txerran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enzo Totakoxe, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Rigoberto Txerran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Meesters went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rigoberto Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 48th minute of play forced Languiñeo FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Enzo Totakoxe made the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Txerran came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 51st minute. In the 59th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Languiñeo FC's Hugo Ireno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kees Mooiweer in the 62 minute of the game. Desiderio Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 68th minute of play forced Languiñeo FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Rigoberto Txerran however easily saved by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Rigoberto Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Languiñeo FC's Enzo Totakoxe. But to his dismay, Enzo Totakoxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Languiñeo FC's Eliseo Vargas was substituted for Felix Zapata. In the 86th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Txerran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Languiñeo FC's Rigoberto Txerran got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseo Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
