Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henri Thomasse started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the FC Caspiy defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zülfikar Neyzen. The FC Caspiy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zülfikar Neyzen should have stopped the shot. Zülfikar Neyzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 8th minute of the match. Zülfikar Neyzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zülfikar Neyzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC Caspiy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 13 minutes into the match, FC Caspiy's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Zülfikar Neyzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. J.P. Drugi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Zülfikar Neyzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Caspiy's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henri Thomasse, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 28th minute of the game Gust Ennemans made a throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt played forward. Henri Thomasse might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henri Thomasse ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Henri Thomasse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zülfikar Neyzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Caspiy's Bernardo Manni. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Caspiy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alain Sutter in the 34th minute. The corner led FC Caspiy's Henri Thomasse to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnout Reekers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zülfikar Neyzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Sutter in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Zülfikar Neyzen threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Egbert Nijveldt's late challenge caught a FC Caspiy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egbert Nijveldt helped the player get up and apologised. Zülfikar Neyzen was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The supporters of FC Caspiy booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Gust Ennemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Henri Thomasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zülfikar Neyzen. The goal made the score 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, 韩洲默 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and 韩洲默 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
