In the 43rd match minute, Spartans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Beitia to maneuver through the defense. Alan Rezek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jere Klein having to interfere.

Czech Republic were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Spartans FC's much stronger midfield.
