Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fulgencio Gizon in the 7 minute of the game. The supporters of Club A.Douglas Haig booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nygaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Club A.Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Romeo to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Ubelteso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Astrada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Astrada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 31st minute, Carlos Panfilo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keld Paulsen. The goal made the score 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, one of Denmark:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Panfilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Astrada to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Denmark's Victorio Ubelteso threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bertram Svenningsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Perfecto came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Carlos Panfilo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 minutes of play, Club A.Douglas Haig's Bernardo Romeo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Denmark's Victorio Ubelteso threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mikkel Wulff, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute Justo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olav Graversen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Bernardo Romeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikkel Wulff struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Victorio Ubelteso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Denmark's attentive Simon Bendtsen managed to snatch the ball when Fulgencio Gizon made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Fulgencio Gizon in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club A.Douglas Haig.
