Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Boca Juniors's Bartolo Nuno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 8th minute of play. Balazs Lajos might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Fernanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balazs Lajos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. Major Barna kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Maximo Bordat took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. Orlando Lluques, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Fernanco having to interfere. Maximo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Medardo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boca Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 34 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Fodor Daniel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bartolo Nuno in the 40thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Orlando Lluques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antal Valentin during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Primitivo Fernanco got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Boca Juniors's Bartolo Nuno got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 58th minute of the match. Hegedus Henriks short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Primitivo Fernanco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boca Juniors's Ladislao Bertran got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Nuno in the 74th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Bertran in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Bertran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Pepito Santalla got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Boca Juniors support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
