Celedonio Normando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Holub went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 15th minute. Delmiro Quin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrich Slany read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Delmiro Quin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. After having played for 21 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Quin in the 25th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Las Brisas FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Las Brisas FC's Delmiro Quin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nereo Evangelista's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised. Nereo Evangelista hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Oliver Holub hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Quin in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delmiro Quin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Quin to make the kick off. Delmiro Quin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Las Brisas FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Nereo Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Nereo Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Quin in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th play minute Oliver Holub came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celedonio Normando. 1-3. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Metod Mlynar made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Normando. Las Brisas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 87 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Quin came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Slovakia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
