Cosimo Mascia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Noureddine Sanchis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 36 minutes in the game, fortunately Flavio Vittori had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Italy booed when LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Níels Skakkebæk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosimo Mascia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Sanchis in the 70th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO made a substitution. Haakon Taankvist replaced Guntademaro Pena. Paulinho Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
