Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garaile Freijo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 5th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Boni. RESISTIR SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, RESISTIR SC's Pio Blasco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Boni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 36th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. RESISTIR SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt to fire away a dangerous shot which Isidro Boni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, RESISTIR SC's Andris De Meulder got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th match minute, RESISTIR SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belasko Espiga to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garaile Freijo to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidro Boni made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Netherlands made a substitution. Sijmen Clous replaced David Eikelkamp. With a little luck, RESISTIR SC's Isidro Boni got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izel Guill, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in RESISTIR SC's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Boni came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Ruelas in the 75th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gombal Mateu during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gombal Mateu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 78th minute of play forced RESISTIR SC's goalkeeper Isidro Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, RESISTIR SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Isidro Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 89 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Garaile Freijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sijmen Clous, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Isidro Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands played a much better game than RESISTIR SC and deserved their victory. The RESISTIR SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
