Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Everton Cebollero sent off a good shot on target. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everton Cebollero. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Edwin Almodovar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everton Cebollero's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Edwin Almodovar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Everton Cebollero sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Almodovar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Edwin Almodovar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. In the 63rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Almodovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Esquadrão Lusitano's Concetto Chelodi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Chelodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Esquadrão Lusitano's Edwin Almodovar got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everton Cebollero in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Henriques came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everton Cebollero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everton Cebollero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
