Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Edwin Almodovar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Edwin Almodovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Esquadrão Lusitano's Everton Cebollero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 24 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Lobato. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Almodovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Almodovar having to interfere. Major Barna charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Major Barna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edwin Almodovar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes, Concetto Chelodi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquadrão Lusitano and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Concetto Chelodi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alexandre Figueira hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. The supporters of Hungary booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfullah Ayık didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esquadrão Lusitano's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Almodovar came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everton Cebollero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Concetto Chelodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Everton Cebollero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquadrão Lusitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Esquadrão Lusitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everton Cebollero to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 59th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Edwin Almodovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Almodovar made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Edwin Almodovar made a huge save. Edwin Almodovar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Katona Janos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Concetto Chelodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everton Cebollero in the 93rd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Esquadrão Lusitano were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
