Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Peletier kicked off to start the match. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 4th minute of play forced Crusaders's goalkeeper Wilson Chagas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Bratt during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingvar Bratt hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Robert Chapuis hit a great ball. Wilson Chagas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, France's Frank Peletier got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of France booed when Crusaders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Bratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 20th minute of play forced Crusaders's goalkeeper Wilson Chagas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Matias Katia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crusaders and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Crusaders getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Matias Katia hit a great ball. Wilson Chagas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crusaders's Wilson Chagas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 44th minute of play. When France's Frank Peletier in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crusaders's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half France were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Wilson Chagas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humphrey Virgin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Humphrey Virgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Camille Baume fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Camille Baume a yellow card for diving instead. Camille Baume hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Crusaders booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Peletier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Chagas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Remy Dupuy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 77 minute of play. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wilson Chagas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Crusaders's Matias Katia got a free kick in the 88th minute. Alexis Bruneau tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Maxime Durand. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-4 in the 94th minute.
