Vladeta Jovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Drasko Rajkovic hit a great ball. Egídio Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sreten Popovic's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Igor da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Nuno Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ebla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serbia the free kick. In the 25th minute, Borjan Golubovic made a precise shot to the right of Egídio Mattos. Ebla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Sreten Popovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Sreten Popovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Ebla FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Freitas. Sreten Popovic took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egídio Mattos. Ebla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdemar Meireles made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Igor da Silva immediately put the ball in play. Borjan Golubovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Mattos having to interfere. Jovan Borisov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egídio Mattos. Ebla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Sreten Popovic came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Serbia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sreten Popovic couldn't finish the play. Serbia's attentive Borjan Golubovic managed to snatch the ball when Alfredo Pombal made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. In the last second Egídio Mattos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sreten Popovic in the 59thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Serbia's zone, Hélio Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal and Hélio Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Borjan Golubovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sreten Popovic got free with Egídio Mattos in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ebla FC's Igor da Silva. But to his dismay, Igor da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With his leg Egídio Mattos managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Serbia's Sreten Popovic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Ebla FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Borjan Golubovic fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Egídio Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Ebla FC's Igor da Silva made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, Ebla FC could leave the field as winners, despite Serbia having more of the ball for most of the match.
