Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rafael van der Vaart made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute Mete Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Golob in the 9th minute of the match. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thomas Grandison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Warren in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Glasston got a freekick which was hit by Jagger Trevena. Glasston's Gregg Didlick was substituted for Thomas Grandison. The crowd rose to their feet as Glasston's Mete Golob slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. After 25 played minutes Glasston got a freekick which was hit by Bennett Rishton. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Convine having to interfere. Jagger Trevena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Glasston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael van der Vaart to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Rafael van der Vaart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Rafael van der Vaart took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart got a free kick in the 60th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Rolfsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Rolfsson in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Carlton Convine in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malte Schiele during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rafael van der Vaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlton Convine was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Frank Sachs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Sachs really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glasston.
