In the 37th minute Sidney Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 40th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, Ubatuba's Natã do Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ubatuba reached it. Sidney Viana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sidney Vianas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 47 minutes in the game Renatinho de Lima did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Samuca Gerber. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidney Viana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renatinho de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Frank Sachs fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Frank Sachs a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Sachs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernandinho Bastos. Ubatuba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernandinho Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Linus Schwerner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Natã do Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Viana went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 76th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Gerber to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 78th minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Fernandinho Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Gerber. 87 minutes into the game, Malte Schiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubatuba the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Sven Krakouer put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Ubatuba a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sidney Viana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. 2-1.
