Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chris Nygaard took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Wágner Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Sharkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Wágner Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zézinho Diniz, made in the 11th minute of the game. Kenn Skou made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Desportivo Coala's Paulinho Prestes. In the 15th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulinho Prestes to maneuver through the defense. Onur Bekata hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Desportivo Coala got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Andrade. In the 23rd minute of the match Lars Steen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardinho Sharkin skillfully saved the ball. Onur Bekata hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Sharkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Desportivo Coala's Paulinho Prestes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kenn Skou, made in the 34th minute of the game. Paulinho Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Desportivo Coala getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Onur Bekata hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Kenn Skou threw the ball into play from the sideline. Desportivo Coala's Paulinho Prestes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Andrade in the 39th minute of play. Wágner Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikkel Wulff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardinho Sharkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desportivo Coala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Denmark's Simon Bendtsen to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardinho Sharkin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wágner Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Zézinho Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desportivo Coala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Zézinho Diniz got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Desportivo Coala's Wágner Andrade in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardinho Sharkin was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Mathias Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Andrade in the 74th minute of play. Wágner Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Chris Nygaard took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bernardinho Sharkin to make any attempt to save it. Ke Bang Zhen made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. If Olav Graversen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Diniz made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wágner Andrade immediately put the ball in play. Bernardinho Sharkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Onur Bekata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bernardinho Sharkin made a huge save. In the 96th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Desportivo Coala's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudinho Dracena put his foot forward to block Desportivo Coala from scoring but unfortunatly he hit the ball so badly that it rolled just inside the left pole, an annoying self made goal. 1-2 in the 96th matchminute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Denmark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
