In the 11th minute Mariano Urdaspal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Coritiba City booed when Piernas Locas Crane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Pedro Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Urdaspal in the 15th minute of the match. Coritiba City's José Pedro Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Frechoso in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Coritiba City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Piernas Locas Crane FC's Jonas Cordarrol made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Pedro Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cícero Batista hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. José Pedro Vides came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Piernas Locas Crane FC's Mariano Urdaspal. But to his dismay, Mariano Urdaspal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 33rd match minute, Piernas Locas Crane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Joel Abeitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piernas Locas Crane FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coritiba City the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Piernas Locas Crane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes, Mauricio Llin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piernas Locas Crane FC and the Coritiba City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Coritiba City booed when Piernas Locas Crane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Llin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Urdaspal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Mariano Urdaspal notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Coritiba City's José Pedro Vides. José Pedro Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Igor Marques came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Piernas Locas Crane FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Marques couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Coritiba City defense, Jonas Cordarrol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Vides. The Coritiba City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Vides should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Piernas Locas Crane FC had played much better football throughout.
