The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivelin Matkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duarte Fernandes went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Evandro Furtado made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ganyo Salmov sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svilen Kotzev in the 12th minute of play forced Quandus's goalkeeper Evandro Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Duarte Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Carlos Dracena's late challenge caught a Опълченците's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svilen Kotzev in the 61st minute of the match. Lulcho Zaimov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Furtado having to interfere.
