After taking down the ball on Pogoń Stawiszyn's corner Mieszko Bartelak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roch Puch quite easily take care of the ball. Roch Puch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Pilipiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radoslaw Trojanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Franciszek Zukowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilbert Podolski, 1-0. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kazimierz Dylla sped through AS Monaco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roch Puch. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Zukowski in the 24th minute of the match. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Zukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Zukowski in the 30th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Monaco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mai Jian Sen in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Avram Ştef almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski did a great save. Gilbert Podolski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franciszek Zukowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A nice corner shot did that Tolek Badanowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilbert Podolski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Zukowski in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Franciszek Zukowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Podolski was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Jian Sen in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Witold Gibowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Gibowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roch Puch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franciszek Zukowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Podolski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. AS Monaco FC's Ludomil Galagan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 74 minute of the game. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Zukowski in the 75th minute of play. Zbyszko Mierzwa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Mai Jian Sen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Trojanowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. AS Monaco FC's Jagan Van Landschoot quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Radoslaw Trojanowski made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AS Monaco FC's Ludomil Galagan. Kazimierz Dylla came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roch Puch could save by the left post.
