The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Brogren in the 2nd minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Victoriano Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boom Shaka Laka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Harri was slow to take the kick. During this time Devoto club social's players had a chance to rest. Victoriano Horado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Jelm's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, David Bennet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boom Shaka Laka and the Devoto club social players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Bennet hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the game Dick Bammerman made a throw-in which Roger Kullander played forward. David Martinez scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Wiklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 minutes of play, Devoto club social's Venancio Brion made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Gartzen got free with Georg Wiklund in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Georg Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Martinez in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, David Martinez made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Boom Shaka Laka's Georg Wiklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes of play, Devoto club social's David Martinez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, David Martinez took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Georg Wiklund to make any attempt to save it. When Devoto club social's David Martinez in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boom Shaka Laka's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Brogren during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rune Brogren kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Martinez in the 48th minute of play forced Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Georg Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Jelm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Georg Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boom Shaka Laka's Rune Brogren got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Rune Brogren off the ground. Rune Brogren hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Diego Honesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boom Shaka Laka's Georg Wiklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Devoto club social's David Martinez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georg Wiklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Emanuel Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devoto club social's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Wiklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Devoto club social fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Devoto club social's David Martinez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Diego Honesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Wiklund having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Boom Shaka Laka's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Honesto came free, but Georg Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Georg Wiklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Georg Wiklund came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Devoto club social's David Martinez. But to his dismay, David Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Devoto club social made a substitution. Cleto Ruisko replaced Tiburcio Mero. Gregorio Indar struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Georg Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Devoto club social. David Bennet hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Delmar Irrintzi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Devoto club social fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Irrintzi couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Georg Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Brion in the 86th minute of the match. Epifanio Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devoto club social's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
