The supporters of Coritiba City booed when Sporting Royal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Predescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Coritiba City's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Moura came free, but 冯雄翀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 冯雄翀 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Predescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 35 minutes Coritiba City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Esteves who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sporting Royal's corner Diego Esteves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 冯雄翀 quite easily take care of the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Rony Dudu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coritiba City's 冯雄翀 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionică Predescu got free with 冯雄翀 in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rony Dudu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 冯雄翀 having to make a save. A collision led to Coritiba City getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Arce hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Coritiba City's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Matos came free, but 冯雄翀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rony Dudu made a kick off. Federico Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. 冯雄翀 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leontin Ilieș, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Bezerra in the 82nd minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Predescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 冯雄翀 having to interfere. Leontin Ilieș made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Geraldo Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Geraldo Bezerra put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Ilieș. 89 minutes into the match, Coritiba City's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Moura came free, but 冯雄翀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Sporting Royal got a freekick which was hit by Alin Dragalina. Coritiba City's Geraldo Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Coritiba City were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sporting Royal side.
