With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Grunwalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alen Iviček in the 15th minute of play. When Ogórki Fc's Alen Iviček in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ryszard Pilipiec's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Aleksander Grunwalski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryszard Pilipiec was the one to do the kick off. Aleksander Grunwalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Kaznocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alen Iviček in the 54th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Ogórki Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Dylla came free, but Aleksander Grunwalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Kaznocha to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Radoslaw Trojanowski got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Alen Iviček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ogórki Fc's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pogoń Stawiszyn had won, even though Ogórki Fc had held more of the ball.
