After 34 played minutes Pure dead brilliant team got a freekick which was hit by Samuel McCaskill. Thanks to some nice moves Aaron McPhedran could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Ilija Skugor however easily saved by the left post. In the 43rd minute Damir Pongrac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon McChoiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Gary Caddell scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 2-0.

The crowd rose to their feet as Toni Mauzer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon McChoiter. That made the score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron McPhedran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Gary Caddell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
