Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgardo Silva kicked off to start the match. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Nordmark got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. New England Minas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glen Conklin in the 18th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Spain's Omar Toledo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremy Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Nordmark in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The New England Minas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Spain were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Omar Toledo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Adria Bielsa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Adria Bielsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adria Bielsa in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Spain booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen Conklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. New England Minas made a substitution. Hipolito Emenon replaced Jörgen Frohm. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Glen Conklin got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Carles Cherro sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Tio Lio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tio Lio in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Carles Cherro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremy Nicholas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tio Lio in the 85th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Ruiz in the 87th minute of the match. Carles Cherro in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremy Nicholas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 90 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Rosas. Spain played a much better game than New England Minas and deserved their victory. The New England Minas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
