Hias Nüssli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Romulo Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Iratxo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Switzerland reached it. When Higinio Blasi fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kekambas FC's protests and gave Higinio Blasi a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Enaut made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dionisio Felo however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Kekambas FC's Israel Osoro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fernando Bertol made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Fridolin Neumeister. Esteve Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuele Kunz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Enaut struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kekambas FC. Blas Peio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Hias Nüssli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Leonel Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kekambas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Peio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteban Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Esteve Iratxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 59th minute. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Esteban Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kekambas FC's Israel Osoro got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Israel Osoro off the ground. Israel Osoro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A hard shot by Rodrigo von Känel from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Esteve Iratxo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Blas Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Kekambas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Esteve Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Esteban Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo von Känel to maneuver through the defense. The Kekambas FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
