Marcu Pantelimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Belgium's Yves Dervaux made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Häll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Lorien. 23 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Viktor Häll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Arif Çelebi Ergener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Häll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Viktor Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 43rd minute of play forced NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Inocencio Lorien made the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Vale made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgium's Lenny Clocheret. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Häll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 67th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Viktor Häll in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viktor Häll made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save NovaStella FK from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Häll saved NovaStella FK from getting behind. Rickard Billberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 84 minutes in the game, Yves Dervaux fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Viktor Häll having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Häll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
