In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Portugal. Felipe Barreto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jose Vimaro. 1-1. In the 16th minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Vachon got free with Wilson Amorim in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Albert Gaardahl sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Albert Gaardahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match, Carmelo Vachon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Portugal's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carmelo Vachon 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. The referee ignored La Maquina 9-12-18's protests and gave Dario Gelacio a yellow card for diving instead. La Maquina 9-12-18 made a substitution. Candido Ebardo replaced Albert Gaardahl. After 71 minutes of play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Candido Ebardo made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by La Maquina 9-12-18's Carmelo Vachon. But to his dismay, Carmelo Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. In the 76th minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Ebardo in the 81st minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Ebardo in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Carmelo Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipinho Amorim struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jose Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Vachon went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Bartolomeu Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 101st minute to try and stop a shot by La Maquina 9-12-18's Carmelo Vachon. But to his dismay, Carmelo Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-2. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
