Teofil Sobczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Gavino Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gavino Raymundo came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gavino Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】 booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Teofil Sobczak took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofil Sobczak's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Fortunato Tagliente was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Gavino Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
