Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 4th minute of play forced Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Daniel Gavin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Petro Atlético's zone, Sostene Vitulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gavin came out of the goal and Sostene Vitulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osasun Palomino in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 15 minutes into the game, Osasun Palomino lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Flavio Vittori. In the 18th minute, Zena Busacca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Daniel Gavin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Gavin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Osasun Palomino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori. Osasun Palomino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gavin having to interfere. Daniel Gavin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Petro Atlético was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Russo to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Gavin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Porziano Marchitelli. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Deodato Magliozzi with Porziano Marchitelli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Gavin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petro Atlético's Nuno Mendes was substituted for Osasun Palomino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute of play forced Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Daniel Gavin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Edmund Maziarski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petro Atlético's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Gavin. That made the score 2-2 in the 65 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Daniel Gavin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Petro Atlético booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigfrido Auletta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Russo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Gavin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Mendes in the 95th minute of the match. Italy played a much better game than Petro Atlético and deserved their victory. The Petro Atlético players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
