Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvestre Cisco kicked off to start the match. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 13th minute. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Palacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Silvestre Cisco did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Fodor Daniel 37 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Agustín Rossi was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
