After a defensive mix-up in UPAO's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Candia came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. UPAO's Carlos Candia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, UPAO's Nikifor Bozadzhiyski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Ladislao Orixe could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Keld Paulsen however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Candia was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Chris Nygaard scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Candia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Candia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. UPAO's Carlos Candia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save UPAO from getting a goal against them. Chris Nygaard in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 86th minute, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Candia. Carlos Candia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 88th minute. Carlos Candia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UPAO.
