With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertram Svenningsen in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Avellaneda saved Inter de Monte Grande fc from getting behind. In the 12th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Jurdan during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Inter de Monte Grande fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. Brook Palmington kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Inter de Monte Grande fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Avellaneda was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Leon Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Avellaneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Inter de Monte Grande fc's Marcelino Ireno got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when Inter de Monte Grande fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Malvin in the 64th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Steen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Avellaneda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Inter de Monte Grande fc's Benedicto Lastur got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Lars Steen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leon Avellaneda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Leon Avellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Gregorio Bidun scored 1-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Leon Avellaneda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lamberto in the 84th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Inter de Monte Grande fc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gregorio Bidun hit a great ball. Inter de Monte Grande fc made a substitution. Paulino Onofre replaced Mariano Gagriel. In the 86th minute, Gregorio Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Amancio Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Monte Grande fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inter de Monte Grande fc made a substitution. Hernan Lazcano replaced Amancio Brion.
