Melquiades Salamon charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Salamon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Tiki Tiki FC's goalkeeper 邱笑威, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Tiki Tiki FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邱笑威 having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 邱笑威 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Humberto Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Humberto Rojelio sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

El Tiki Tiki FC's Joel Jobo was substituted for Conrado Poncio. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but 邱笑威 made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Rojelio came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, El Tiki Tiki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Fero to maneuver through the defense. El Tiki Tiki FC made a substitution. Silvio Tristan replaced Enzo Izel. In the 86th match minute, El Tiki Tiki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Fero to maneuver through the defense. 邱笑威 came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Takacs Tibor. But to his dismay, Takacs Tibor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Rojelio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
