Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Ulrich Stein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bodovce FK the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Germany's Frank Sachs tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Petruška in the 8th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislav Rottmaier in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislav Rottmaier got free with Tommy Kahn in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stano Polgár kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marián Fabula sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 36 minutes, Ladislav Rottmaier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodovce FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislav Rottmaier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 minutes, Frank Sachs made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bodovce FK's Ivan Fogaš tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42ndth minute of the game Martin Petruška who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Petruška in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Petruška was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Ladislav Rottmaier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Fogaš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Marián Fabula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Fabula, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ivan Fogaš skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Martin Petruška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Fogaš made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, one of Bodovce FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Fogaš having to interfere. Ján Almann kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bodovce FK's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Fogaš came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Fogaš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Rottmaier in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Petruška in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
