In the 9th minute of the match, Reinaldo Trancoso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fodor Daniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Simões in the 13th minute of play. The Beatles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinaldo Trancoso in the 15th minute. Evert Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Takis Koutsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Takis Koutsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of the match. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Takis Koutsos having to make a save. Takis Koutsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, The Beatles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Simão to maneuver through the defense. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Doru Lițu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, The Beatles's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Takis Koutsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. The corner led The Beatles's Reinaldo Trancoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Takis Koutsos made a huge save. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Beatles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Lițu came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Beatles's Evert Österlund got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Takis Koutsos. The Beatles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Takacs Tibor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Beatles made a substitution. Zeca Brodel replaced Doru Lițu. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Beatles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Hungary's Boros Benedek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Messias came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frederico Messias who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to The Beatles's Eusébio Lopes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Takis Koutsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 88th minute of play. Takis Koutsos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Major Barna. A collision led to The Beatles getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eusébio Lopes hit a great ball. Major Barna kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing The Beatles to leave the ground with a draw.
