Roberto-Carlos Petrović made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wel Lidzbark's Lucjan Kocieniewski. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 1-1. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Wojciech Pachucki in Wel Lidzbark was the one to initiate the kick off. Marcin Bartelak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wlodzimierz Klucznik in the 103rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Roberto-Carlos Petrović in the 108th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wel Lidzbark's Lucjan Kocieniewski. Wel Lidzbark's Lucjan Kocieniewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roberto-Carlos Petrović in the 110 minute of the game. Radoslaw Ziombkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 110th minute. Jan Basaik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Ale Glowacz did a quick kick off. Marcin Bartelak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ale Glowacz in the 119th minute of the match. 124 minutes into the match, Wel Lidzbark's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Österberg came free, but Marcin Bartelak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The referee gave Wel Lidzbark a penalty, 134 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeff Bezos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik. 2-1. Jan Basaik had in the 137thth minute some difficulties stopping Sofronio Santiago's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jan Basaik had in the 143rdth minute some difficulties stopping Roberto-Carlos Petrović's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience cheered when Roberto-Carlos Petrović's long shot passed Marcin Bartelak's right side. It was 3-5, 143 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
