Leonel Caponi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernard Wietrzychowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Caponi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Club Atlético Escocia's Titan Nahas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernard Wietrzychowski. Bernard Wietrzychowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Bernard Wietrzychowski made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Leonel Caponi sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Giejda in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Atarrabi saved Club Atlético Escocia from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Brytka in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match FC ICEWIND DALE got a corner. Club Atlético Escocia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alesandro Nesta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 37 minutes of play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Robert Kasprzak made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Atarrabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Duszenski in the 41st minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Caponi in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Wietrzychowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goal looked a bit too open when Titan Nahas came free, but Bernard Wietrzychowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Wietrzychowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titan Nahas in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Leonel Caponi made the kick off in the second half. Bernard Wietrzychowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titan Nahas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarrabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyryl Giejda. Benedykt Duszenski scored 3-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Atarrabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Kacper Bierfass got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Escocia defense, Benedykt Duszenski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Atarrabi. The Club Atlético Escocia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelino Atarrabi should have stopped the shot. Bernard Wietrzychowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Caponi in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Fergus León. Club Atlético Escocia's Filiberto Tolino was substituted for Saul Fiz. Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. German Tartalo replaced Titan Nahas. When Alesandro Nesta came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC ICEWIND DALE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alesandro Nesta couldn't finish the play. FC ICEWIND DALE's Bernard Wietrzychowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Caponi in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, FC ICEWIND DALE's Siniša Mihajlović seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Siniša Mihajlović the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC ICEWIND DALE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Siniša Mihajlović had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC ICEWIND DALE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! After 88 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Justin Tello.
