After 4 minutes, Timo Siegmund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Switzerland and the FK Elbistan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timo Siegmund kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Abdülhak Tanyolaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdülhak Tanyolaç might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdülhak Tanyolaç ran back to his position shaking his head. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Mitxaut. The supporters of FK Elbistan booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fridolin Neumeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes FK Elbistan got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Vezir. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Gültekin in the 21st minute of play. Hias Nüssli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Mitxaut in the 22nd minute. Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hias Nüssli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Epifanio Mitxaut made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ali Gültekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Gültekin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hias Nüssli saved Switzerland from getting behind. Hias Nüssli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Ali Gültekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Elbistan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Abdülhak Tanyolaç put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hias Nüssli. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Ali Gültekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdülhak Tanyolaç made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 55th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Switzerland were furious when Levi von Herren was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 57th minute, one of Switzerland:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Switzerland. After 64 minutes Switzerland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Epifanio Mitxaut who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Abdülhak Tanyolaç came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Epifanio Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Elbistan's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Mitxaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Epifanio Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Elbistan's Ali Gültekin. But to his dismay, Ali Gültekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Abdülhak Tanyolaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Epifanio Mitxaut went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute Ali Gültekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdülhak Tanyolaç in the 99th minute of the match. Zikri İlkay kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Switzerland players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FK Elbistan.
