Gerasim Kaymakanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. With a little luck, ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong got control of the ball when Richard Häll tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerasim Kaymakanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ManagerZone Crew's zone, Claudinho Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal and Claudinho Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Narciso Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adrian Våleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thorbjörn Olerius during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UNLIMITED booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Dietz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
