In the 20th minute Stig-Ove Möller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Stig-Ove Möller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lyle Flanagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Prosperi in the 25th minute of the match. Miguel Prosperi took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyle Flanagan. Lyle Flanagan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save EL LOBO DE MIAMI from getting a goal against them. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Möller came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Stig-Ove Möller made a precise shot to the right of Branislav Velchevski. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Lyle Flanagan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Francis in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Suarez. Stig-Ove Möller struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Branislav Velchevski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL LOBO DE MIAMI. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Bonifacio Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Prosperi made a kick off. Gordie Mosquera made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Bonifacio Suarez. In the 54th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Flanagan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marshall Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Stig-Ove Möller. But to his dismay, Stig-Ove Möller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Willy Webster was substituted for Stig-Ove Möller. EL LOBO DE MIAMI made a substitution. Cristiano Trezeguet replaced Marshall Medina. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Webster in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes in the game Gordie Mosquera did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bart Timmons. Willy Webster's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willy Webster in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute of the game Bonifacio Suarez made a throw-in which Roland Kolacki played forward. Bonifacio Suarez got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roland Kolacki. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Bonifacio Suarez got a free kick in the 88th minute. Willy Webster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
