After a rather tough play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Giuseppe Conway got a free kick in the 8th minute. Lyle Flanagan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Aku Ylönen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Flanagan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyle Flanagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Incendio in the 26th minute of play. Stig-Ove Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Nisio having to interfere. Lyle Flanagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aku Ylönen in the 31st minute of play. Lyle Flanagan came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by phoinix fc's Ruperto Incendio. But to his dismay, Ruperto Incendio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stig-Ove Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Möller in the 36th minute of play forced phoinix fc's goalkeeper Fausto Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Incendio in the 37th minute of play. Aku Ylönen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lyle Flanagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyle Flanagan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aku Ylönen went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Ove Möller made a kick off. A collision led to EL LOBO DE MIAMI getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marshall Medina hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Ruperto Incendio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lyle Flanagan. Ruperto Incendio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. EL LOBO DE MIAMI made a substitution. Cristiano Trezeguet replaced Reginaldo Dias. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Incendio in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Stig-Ove Möller managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Möller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Nisio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Aku Ylönen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lyle Flanagan. That made the score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. phoinix fc's Ruperto Incendio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lyle Flanagan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Incendio in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the EL LOBO DE MIAMI defense, Aku Ylönen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lyle Flanagan. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lyle Flanagan should have stopped the shot. Ruperto Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Flanagan having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Lyle Flanagan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Incendio. When Aku Ylönen came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the phoinix fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aku Ylönen couldn't finish the play. phoinix fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
