Mauricio Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Martin Leheren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. Miran Moco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute, Arnaldo Gabon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Saran got free with Branislav Velchevski in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miran Moco. Attilio Casciano had several of the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Branislav Velchevski as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Martin Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauricio Seber made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miran Moco immediately put the ball in play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were victorious despite being under pressure from Deportivo Luz y Fuerza for much of the match.
