Pedro Udalaitz made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Berto Somiedo however managed to control. 44 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Besik Taş came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bennvar Buffon. Bolsodios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berto Somiedo was the one to do the kick off. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Besik Taş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennvar Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute Berto Somiedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berto Somiedo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Besik Taş in the 62nd minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bolsodios's Bennvar Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Bolsodios from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Cherro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branislav Velchevski saved ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Bolsodios were awarded a corner. Leo Fender went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Roberto Cherro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 5-1 in the 93rd minute. Bolsodios's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
