Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Buitenhout FC's Bertus Scheffer. Bertus Scheffer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Scheffer having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Buitenhout FC's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Willem Oosterman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 22 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertus Scheffer. Buitenhout FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Bertus Scheffer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 32nd minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Bertus Scheffer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Buitenhout FC's Roy Kostermans got a free kick in the 34th minute. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertus Scheffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Scheffer having to interfere. After the first half Germany were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bertus Scheffer. Frank Sachs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertus Scheffer. Bertus Scheffer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buitenhout FC's goalie prevented a goal. Buitenhout FC were furious when Elbert Huiting was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 64th minute, Elbert Huiting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertus Scheffer, 0-6. In the 71st minute, Mickael van der Linden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buitenhout FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Bertus Scheffer in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Roy Kostermans in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Linus Schwerner. Bertus Scheffer was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Frank Sachs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Sachs really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Frank Sachs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bertus Scheffer came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Sachs slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 88th minute.
