Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter Roriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaka Lao in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Harry Bengtsson in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Gualter Roriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 15th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andaka Mula, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 19th minute. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gualter Roriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Delta FS's Gualter Roriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 31st minute of play. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute of play. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. Gualter Roriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Delta FS's Kong Xi Liang seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kong Xi Liang the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Delta FS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kong Xi Liang had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Napoleon Tylenda to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Gualter Roriz managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 56 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delta FS's Gualter Roriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 59th minute of play. In the 66th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Roriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Felipinho Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delta FS's Lisandro Tab got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Roriz. Delta FS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Song Qian Wei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delta FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Song Qian Wei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Napoleon Tylenda went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
