An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Beckham in the 9th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Francis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Branislav Velchevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 17 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Prosperi who took care of the corner kick. AFC FUSION's attentive Dawid Beckham managed to snatch the ball when Bonifacio Suarez made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Branislav Velchevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Karlo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 37th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Silva to maneuver through the defense. After the first half AFC FUSION were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Francis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 55th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Thiago Silva got a free kick in the 58th minute. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Prosperi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Silva to maneuver through the defense. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Arnaldo Gabon replaced Miguel Prosperi. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Thiago Silva hit a great ball. Bonifacio Suarez made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham. After 69 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Beckham. Silvestre Oinaz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Romulo Abilio. Silvestre Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Dawid Beckham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Suarez hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Roland Kolacki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Aureliano Karlo scored to the left of an out of position Branislav Velchevski, making the score, 1-3. In the 83rd minute of the match, Aureliano Karlo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Branislav Velchevski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 96 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

AFC FUSION's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
