After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao got a free kick in the 8th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. Pieterjan Anteunis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Vitaliy Vischak made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieterjan Anteunis got free with Vitaliy Vischak in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitaliy Vischak made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Teodoro Esquipula sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Yuri Portugal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitaliy Vischak was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Unai Sócrates came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Zdraşcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Răzvan Necula might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radamel Hendrickx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Răzvan Necula ran back to his position shaking his head. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 93rd minute of play.

The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
