When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslav Nechvátal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Abastas in the 56th minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Xie Chao Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Club A. Chipa y Tereré defense, Bernardino Abastas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xie Chao Cheng. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xie Chao Cheng should have stopped the shot. Quebracho FC's Wouter De Brouwer was substituted for German Liher. Jose Manuel Arias made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Gregorio Elixio.
